Warming up for the inktober festivities with a brand-new Itoya calligraphy pen, and a three minute sketch of my ubersweet troublemaking Shiba inu, Taylor.
When I say that he's trouble, I mean he does things like this: all day yesterday while I was sitting in my office working, he laid in the hallway with his butt facing into the room, farting and farting and farting. Honestly I don't know how I survived it.
Anyway, I don't draw from life very often at all; in fact, it's easier for me to just make stuff up out of my head. But for this sketch, I asked Taylor to sit in front of me so I could try to capture his likeness. What do you think?
