I met up with friends Chuck and Renee, and David, for lunch today out in Pleasant Hill. I arrived with Texas caviar and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, and returned with two jars of homemade salsa, two homegrown butternut squash, two homegrown acorn squash, a bottle of Pinot noir, homemade toffee (which we just call "crack"), and homemade rum balls. These guys are three of the most generous people I know! I'm glad that Hallmark – and diving – brought us together!
And it turned out that Renee and I had the same idea about painting pumpkins rather than carving. Look how cute hers turned out!! Nemo and sharky!!
