Feelin' hot hot HOT!
I went to Thai Place in Westport for dinner (after picking up a new set of Touma minis at Poptopia... Thanks, Patrick!) and ordered the same thing I always order: Pad Thai, medium-spicy. The only thing consistent about their heat level is the inconsistency. It came out HOT (although not quite Thai-hot, or I might be posting this from the great beyond!), and though it was super-tasty I had to fight back tears a little. So I drew a warning on my to-go box:
And then I went home to play with my new toys.

Hulu-rific!
As an encore to the season finale of The Bachelorette (featuring Jake the pilot), John & Michele invited me over to watch the 2-hour season premiere of The Bachelor (featuring Jake the pilot). We had a blast making fun of it, and were provided with ample fodder. Enjoyed pizza by Spin!, and I was the target of much laughter as I fit perfectly into a tiny armchair intended for their 3-year-old son. Back to The Bachelor, I happened to check Hulu and couldn't help but notice the tags for the show: LOL!!! I should be embarrassed for watching it, but we had such a good time that we may make it a weekly engagement (no pun intended).
