We are getting a lovely, soaking rain in the Kansas City area today. But that didn't keep my buddy Taylor and I from making our morning rounds to see the neighborhood kids off to school. (See post from last week.)
There were a surprising number of kids out walking in their cute boots and umbrellas, but not the two kids that we most hoped to see. I guess they got a ride! We will try again tomorrow!
PS: my socks are squishy.
