Funny or Die sighting

   Check out this new video on Funny or Die, written by G1988 co-owner Jensen Karp to promote the current "Is This Thing On?" art exhibit, running through the end of the month at Gallery1988 (Melrose)! (Warning: not safe for work.) And, yes, that is my plush Bret on the left side of the screen, behind Michael Cera, at 0:50. So now I can claim that Michael Cera, Tony Danza, and Nick Kroll have definitely seen my artwork. Coolio.

Best Week Ever!

   In the last week I've had two people tell me I look like I walked off "Mad Men" & a third person say that I look like Reese Witherspoon. Me? Happier? Never! Best. Week. Ever.

Celeb look-alikes, part deux

A coworker challenged his Facebook friends to post a celebrity look-alike as their profile photo, and it has been a lot of fun to see who's turning up. I went with Emily Deschanel, but also tried this website to see what they would suggest. Most of them, I like! Especially Gwyneth Paltrow, even if it is a total lie. Not sure what's up with that last one, but everyone I've discussed it with has had a curveball in theirs too (like opposite gender sometimes!)

celebrity look-alikes?

Ever play that game at a party where you go around the room & each person says which celebrity would play them in a movie about their life? (Essentially, which celebrity looks most like you.) I've never been able to think of an answer for that, but have had three suggested to me recently: Emily Deschanel (of the TV show "Bones", which I've never seen), Valerie Bertinelli, & Reese Witherspoon. Not sure if it's true, but I'm highly delighted by all of them!
